Have your say on seven-day primary care services Hereford

Local NHS leaders are seeking your views on the future of seven-day primary care services in the city of Hereford.

A consultation into the future use of health facilities located at the Asda Centre in Hereford closes on Monday 24th April 2017.

The contract which provides the walk-in centre at the Hereford GP Access Centre in Belmont Road, Hereford, ends in June and Herefordshire CCG is proposing not to recommission a walk-in service.

Instead the CCG wants to change the facilities into a GP practice.  The proposal includes the relocation of the Ross Road branch practice of the city's Moorfield House Surgery into the walk-in centre location.

In addition, the proposal includes relocating the seven-day GP service presently provided by Taurus Healthcare in the city centre's Wargrave House Surgery (known as Taurus hub), which offers evening and weekend appointments to patients registered at Herefordshire practices.
