Welcome to the SIL Disability Aids/Assistive
Technology page
Disability aids and assistive technology promotes greater
independence by enabling people to perform tasks that they were
formerly unable to accomplish, or had great difficulty
accomplishing, by providing enhancements to or changed methods
of interacting with the technology needed to accomplish such
tasks. Invest in Imagination - In early April 2011 we held a conference all about assistive technology. You can download the presentations and look at pictures of the event here.
