Announcement from Torfaen & Blaenau Gwent Mind they are following the government’s current guidelines on the coronavirus & have sadly had to close their doors in both Pontypool and Brynmawr to the public, however all staff are working from home.
They are unable to deliver the recovery courses, activities or offer face to face support until further notice. Unfortunately, counselling has now ended due to lack of funding, but they are continuing to look for alternative funding to provide this service at some point in the future.
They are still supporting volunteers & service users via telephone and email.
Please see the website https://www.torfaenmind.co.uk/ and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/torfaenandblaenaugwentmind which they are regularly updating.
If you do need to speak to someone for advice please ring: 01495 757393 (Pontypool Well-being centre) or 01495 311445 (Phoenix Project) where you can speak to a member of staff or if you prefer email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the interim they are expecting the Wellbeing Centre and the Phoenix project to be closed up until Easter. This is subject to Government guidelines and could change. Please do visit the website or Facebook page for updates. Please follow government guidelines and keep yourselves and your families safe. Thank you for your patience and understanding at such a difficult time.
