Meet the trainers

We at SIL are delighted to be able to offer a whole range of training focused around our mission and vision, ‘providing individual care and support services empowering people to lead an independent life at home’. Our team of qualified trainers consists of members of our team here at Services for Independent Living in addition to external training bodies when appropriate. Each brings their own wealth of experience and passion for their field making the training relevant and interesting.

I have undergone formal media training, Mental Health First Aid trainer training and am an accredited mediator. I am co-founder of HMMH – Hereford Men’s Mental Health Group which won both the Mental Health Care category prize and Outstanding Contribution Award in the Hereford Times Health and Social Care Awards 2020. Medication

I have worked for SIL for 10 years now, working along side Tara Jones, Registered Manager. Working for SIL have given me the opportunities to progress my career including gaining BTEC Level 3 Award in Teaching and Education in 2022, which has lead me to becoming a trainer in Medication.
