Lottery success for SIL

Great news for Hereford Men’s Mental Health! The group, which meets twice monthly, has received the wonderful news that it is to be funded for a further two years to continue delivering services in the city.

This has come about thanks to a National Lottery award from The National Lottery Community Fund, secured by Services for Independent living (SIL) who facilitate the group through its Chief Executive, Euan McPherson and Co-Founder Paul Stevens.

Euan said: “We have been awarded just under £20,000 which will be a huge help in enabling us to continue delivering services in the city.

“Not only does this secure HMMH’s future for the next two years, but it also provides some additional funding to develop some specific projects aimed at raising the profile of men’s mental health and wellbeing.

“We want to thank not only the National Lottery Community Fund, but also all those people who buy lottery tickets. Every pound spent really does make a huge difference to someone’s life”.

HMMH meets every second and fourth Monday of each month from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in the United in the Community Building, Victoria Park, Field Grove View, HR11AW.
