My interest with SIL was initially sparked by attending the SIL AGM at Saxon Hall as Mayor of Leominster in 2016. Throughout that afternoon I felt privileged just to listen, observe and laugh, experiencing the camaraderie that was omnipresent on the day.
I have been a Town Councillor for 7 years and Chair and Parish Councillor of Birley and Upper Hill for 10 years.
I have had a varied career within the Citizen’s Advice. I became Manager of their Yardley branch and offered, as a service, money advice, Tribunal Representation and became an area Trainer.
I have been a Personnel & Training Officer with Boots at their Flag Ship Store in Coventry and I am a qualified Personnel Professional.
The year 2002 saw a change in career. I attended Pershore College and qualified in Horticulture, Garden Design and management.
Now at Grange Court, as its Manager, there are many challenges but rewarding times in developing the business.
