One to One Support Worker

Care and Support team member required in Hereford.

We are looking for support workers who are passionate about promoting independence; to provide care and companionship for a gentleman with MS living in his supportive family home in Hereford. He has a keen interest in sport – especially football – puzzles, quizzes and loves Hereford history… could you be the missing piece?

Support hours provided are 9am – 6pm, 7 days a week. We require 2-3 days each week and weekend working on rota. There are some high levels of support required with moving and positioning, catheter care and PEG feeding but for the right candidate experience is not essential as full training and shadow support will be provided to ensure that you are confident in carrying out all responsibilities.

Whilst we are offering this position as a dedicated support post to an individual for those who would prefer a single work location, there are additional hours available with other service users if you are looking for them.
