A free event for unpaid carers that highlights the range of services available living in Herefordshire is coming to the Kindle Centre, Hereford on Monday 9 June.
The event will run from 10am – 2pm and will feature market stalls, talks and workshops of interest to unpaid carers, including:
- Talks by Councillor Carole Gandy, Cabinet Member for Adults, Health and Wellbeing, John Burgess, Commissioning Manager at Herefordshire Council and Gareth Howells, CEO at TuVida (Herefordshire Council’s commissioned carer support service)
- Legal services for carers with Richard Green, Hereford Wills
- Complementary therapy taster sessions with Marsha Arnold
- The Kindle Singers Community Choir
- Short film about Carer Links
- Stalls from local charities, services and organisations
A free buffet lunch, tea and coffee will also be provided.
