What is Moving and Positioning?
This half day REFRESHER course in moving and positioning is held at TPG Disabled Aids in Hereford. Here, our trainer will not only teach you about the basic principles and techniques that will keep you safe but you will also gain valuable experience in using different lifting and moving aids.
What will I learn?
- Basic principles and techniques
- Understand limits of your role in relation to moving and positioning
- Awareness of key legislation and organisational procedures
- Know how to assess risks and be aware of good practice techniques
- Recognise how we can prevent injuries caused by bad practice
- Demonstrate good moving and positioning techniques.
How much does the training cost?
This REFRESHER course costs £40 for a half day session, course materials, qualification certificate and refreshments.
