What is Infection Prevention & Control?

This half day course will help you to understand the legal obligations, the consequences of poor infection control practices and how to implement the measures in your workplace.

What will I learn?

• Understand legal obligations with regard to infection control
• Understand the consequences of poor infection control practice and disease transmission
• Identify the infection control measures that can be put in place; handwashing & PPE use, housekeeping, needles & sharps, waste disposal, etc.
• Implement infection control measures in your workplace
• Understand the importance of using universal precautions

How much does the training cost?

This awareness course costs £30 for a half day session, course materials, qualification certificate and refreshments.
