SIL’s Easter Eggstravaganza

Services for Independent Living (SIL) began their event calendar for 2024 with their annual Easter Eggstravaganza.

This popular event was attended by over 40 service users and staff in SIL’s Leominster office. The weather may not have been very springlike, but there was cuteness in abundance thanks to an early spring lamb, brought along by Lesley, SIL’s ILH Care Co-ordinator.

Little Larry was quite happy being petted and cuddled by guests at the event, enjoying the attention and being very well behaved!

Easter bonnets, sweet treats and a very special Easter Quiz ensured there was something to appeal to all visitors, while an Easter themed raffle raised £121 for SIL’s charity of the year, the Marches Family Network.

SIL holds a number of events throughout the year for its service users, their family and staff, and are already planning the summer Garden Party. This year, SIL will also host a special Picnic in the Park for service users and staff of care agencies across the county to celebrate social care across Herefordshire.
