ABOUT THE ROLE
Situated in Great Malvern, we are looking for a part-time/full time Healthcare Support Worker to care for our Son, who has a complex healthcare condition with epilepsy. He requires 1:1 support at all times to keep him safe and well cared for.
He receives 24 hour support from his family and a wonderful team of carers. Our Son is a wheelchair user and cannot communicate verbally.
He is easy going with a cheeky smile and enjoys listening to his Carers talking to him and reading books. He also enjoys sensory stimulation including lights, music and going out for walks in his wheelchair.
Your responsibilities will include the administration of medication, moving and handling, personal care and completing a daily diary.
We provide a great working environment in a new purpose built independent annexe which forms part of the family home.

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have experience in the NHS, Education or in another care setting. You will preferably live locally and you will be a female as our Son prefers female support.
You will need to be calm, friendly and unphased by his health needs and situations you may need to support him with and also be able to demonstrate a high level of integrity, promoting his independence and respecting him and his home at all times.
We provide bespoke as well as mandatory training and you will be guided and supported by us to deliver care in a person-centred way.
