Our Independent Living at Home (ILH) team support adults that have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and long-term health conditions.
As a support worker, you’ll not only make an incredible difference to the people you support but you’ll get to enjoy days out, activities and find it hugely rewarding.
Tasks may include providing personal care, medication management, domestic duties, meal preparation, shopping, supporting hobbies and accompanying service users on days out.
You’ll support service users to live the life they choose whether it is from taking a daily walk or watching the football to watching the soaps or attending clubs and all the bits in-between.
You will get to work in an environment that promotes both personal and professional development, supports wellness in the workplace and a good work-life balance.
We currently have vacancies for shorter calls of four or five hours, mornings, and evenings as well as 24 hours shifts. Talk to us about your availability and see if we can find the role for you.
We support people across Herefordshire. Applicants must possess a driving license.
You don’t need lots of qualifications to start your career in care. All you need is the right values. If you are kind, honest, thoughtful, and could support others with compassion you’re the person we’re looking for.
